Raspberry Ridge is a rental retreat home perfect for your crafting, small group or specialty get away! The cabin is a three story walk-out. The top, lofted floor consists of four bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Each bedroom has twin beds (no bunk beds), and two of the bedrooms have a queen sized bed. This area sleeps 16 guests.
The second floor houses a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dish washer and kitchen supplies), dining room, living room with entertainment center, a deck and four season porch with a massage chair. This floor also has a small host bedroom that will sleep one person on a futon chair.
The walk-out level contains a bathroom, a utility room and a spacious(over 1300 sq ft) work room. There are 16 five foot tables, each with their own adjustable chair. The work room is outfitted with many tools including: a die cut machine, computer, and laser printer. There are also trimmers, punches, scissors, setters, idea books and templates. The work room also features two TVs equipped with surround sound, a DVD player and DirectTV.
Raspberry Ridge is located in Motley, Minnesota, 120 miles north of the Twin Cities. It is set on 18 acres of wooded land located just off Highway 10 on Aztec Rd.
FAQ
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is at 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 11:00 AM. When available, early check-in and late check out can be arranged with the owner.
Q: Tell us about sleeping arrangements.
A: There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor of the cabin. Bedroom #1 has four twin beds. Bedroom #2 has three twin beds. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds and one queen bed. Bedroom #4 has three twin beds and one queen bed. There is also a single, pull out futon bed in the host room on the main level. Each bed is made up with fresh, clean sheets and a pillow with pillow case. Guests supply their own cover/blanket.
Q: What about food for the weekend?
A: Each group provides their own food for their stay. Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. There is also information on several local restaurants posted at the cabin. But be prepared–Raspberry Ridge is tucked away in a beautiful and remote spot! Nearby restaurants and grocery stores are limited! If you are willing to drive to Brainerd (about 30 minutes) there are many more options!
Q: What if I don’t have a group of sixteen?
A: Any size group may rent the cabin. The price is the same for any sized group. However, during the off season a reduced rate may be available for smaller groups. Contact the owners for more information.
Q: Do we have to clean when we leave?
A: Raspberry Ridge has it’s own housekeeper. We do ask that upon check-out you strip the linens off your bed, gather the garbage into one spot and run the dishwasher.
Q: How much space is there for each person to work?
A: The lowest level of the cabin houses the “crop room”. This work room features 16 five foot tables each with overhead lighting, and an adjustable, cushioned office chair.
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: First, check our calendar to confirm availability and then contact the owners here. Once availability is confirmed you will be sent a contract packet. This packet includes everything you need to plan your stay at Raspberry Ridge. Once you book a stay at Raspberry Ridge, you have first priority to book it for the same dates the next year!
Q: What is the payment/cancellation policy?
A: A non-refundable deposit is required within two weeks of making a booking. The balance of the payment is due forty-five days before you arrive at Raspberry Ridge. If you cancel your stay less than 45 days prior to arrival your rental fee is non-refundable.
